Can you help catch terrified injured dog living rough in North Lanarkshire?

ANIMAL lovers in North Lanarkshire are being asked to help bring an injured abandoned dog to safety.

The Scottish SPCA and dog wardens have been trying to catch a hurt Border Collie living rough in Airdrie for around three weeks.

But the dog - which is thought to have been hit by car - is said to be "terrified" and wont let them get close enough.

Cases like this when you need a real dog whisperer (someone calm that a dog intrinsically feels safe with). Hope it's rescued soon.

I wonder if this could be Carolyne's dog?
Perhaps too far away, but I think it's worth a mention on her thread.

They should try darting it as they do with wild animals that way you don't have to get to close.

Has anyone heard of any more sightings of this dog? I live reasonably close by and have been down to Airdrie a couple of times to try and track it down but there is a huge amount of ground to cover.
