Amazing Dogs!

My OH is just putting up a new stair gate (metal as opposed to wood - hah let's see you chomp through that one Loki, you little devil! ) and Loki has just charged out of the room to go and watch him working. He seems to like the drill.

lol now that would be a neat trick! Anyone running a sweepstake as to how long it will take Loki to combat the metal gate?

Well he watched its construction carefully enough - it really wouldn't surprise me if he finds a way through. Perhaps by chewing up the wooden stair posts it's attached to . I shouldn't laugh as it's really frustrating but you have to admire his tenacity. If only we could find a way of re-routing it.

we have a baby gate at the top of the stairs for Bruno as our extension has started - he has been attempting to squeeze his massive head thorugh the 1 1/2 inch gap between the bars for the last 4 days - eventually I think it will just give way !!
at least it gives him something to do with his time !! LOL

Aw bless him - is that when you're upstairs and he wants to get to you?

The scary thing about Loki is that he seems completely unfazed by tools and noise. He gets in really close and watches avidly.
