Hugs from me too.

Sad that last night I was telling my daughter about the concept of the Rainbow Bridge. We had a giggle that when Mommy crosses over it all the critters...dogs, cats, and every description of other furry creature will descend and Mommy will be squished.

Her rat Blueberry passed away last night. Em is special needs so the idea of death and illness goes past her. I got up super early and disposed of poor Blueberry. We went to the pet shop this afternoon and found a new baby rat Gia.

For my kid it works...the old rat has a new companion and we miss Blueberry but it's okay now.
