An Irish Dog Borstal - anyone else caught it?

While flicking through BBCi-player I caught the first episode of a new dog training prog from Northern Ireland. I`m still not sure what I think! One trainer (gentleman in very fetching boots) has 6 weeks to turn some fairly clueless dog owners into model citizens. The Production budget is, I think, a lot smaller than DB - they appear to be working on a netball court, and a very jolly lady drives round to see people and enthuse over their dogs in a little car - she`s obviouslt `the presenter.
The guy uses a mix of old-school and new-school methods - yank and command heelwork, then NILIF for sit. I`m confused!
If you want to see it it`s here http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b009lyxd/
It`s called Good Dog Bad Dog (check out the programme banner on the netball court- loved it!)
