Every year without fail when Dr Vadim, the Local Authority Vet, came to give Little One her rabies shot, she would piddle on one of his feet when he bent down to fuss her [and give the shot while doing so]

Luckily Pereg is more polite than that!

Last dog that peed over me was coming out of the treatment room at the vets. I was sat at the desk talking to the nurse with Bella on my knee. Huge shaggy dog walked past us, stopped, peed all over my leg and foot and carried on going!

Nurse was cleaning me up and said he usually pees on all the stuff on the shelves - I made a mental note never to buy anything from the vet that is stored on the low shelves!

I got peed on by a friend's dog recently. I think it shows a great disrespect, marking a person as they mark lamposts and trees.

Certainly wouldn't endear dogs to members of the public who don't own dogs would it? Bad enough when they pee up their gates, or over their bags or whatever!

I suppose it's only boy dogs who pee on people's legs?

Every time Chloe and I go out for a walk around the village she wees on every pile of dog poo she can find (no laws about clearing up poo over here). She's only started doing it since we arrived back from spending six months in the UK, so I'm assuming it's her way of letting all the village dogs know she's back!

She's really funny to watch because each time she comes across some poo she'll carefully cock her leg, have the tiniest pee possible before moving on to the next pile so that somehow or other by the time we've finished a 20 minute walk she'll have weed on around 15 piles!

As for the other dogs in the village she seems to have decided that being a well travelled dog somehow makes her superior so she ignores them!

My little terrier Witty is like that - no matter how long the walk, he always manages to save a bit so he can wee where another dog has weed (fortunately we don't come across too many piles of poo!)

I knew Pepe the poodle had grown up when the other two deemed his wees worthy of being weed upon. When he was a puppy they didn't bother, but now he's adult all three seem to vie to be the last one to wee on something. When I let them out first thing in the morning, if one of them pees too close to the path and some wee goes on it, I have to wait till they've all gone through the ritual of weeing on the same spot before I chuck a bucket of water of it. (The path, I stress, not a dog!).

Just got back from the park and met two ladies who had 10 dogs between them. It was good for belle with her socialising, she did very well but while all the dogs were sniffing each other Mika weed on my daughter and then me. We all agreed it was mikas way of showing the other dogs that we are his. I'm probably wrong but I take it as a compliment that he doesn't want anyone else taking his family but at the same time I don't particularly want to be weed on lol.

Hi I was always told, that when dogs wee-ed they were leaving a message for other dogs, and then other dogs also shared there news, eventually after all the dogs had left there input it became "The Daily Woof" a community newspaper for dogs, but some dogs get over excited about spreading the news and wee's in the wrong place.Gemini54

Pip has peed on peoples legs a couple of times, first time was at Crufts on my friends white trousers, luckily she had another pair, he also tried it last weekend, commentary was caught as person was filming at the time!

Rufus did it to me once when we were about to go in the ring. It seems to happen at dog shows, maybe they pick up a scent on the trousers.
