Dead rabbit or the ball!

Just saw out first ever dead rabbit on our walk. I thought oh no what's she going to do? Eat it, carry it, roll on it, guard it.....
The ball had landed right next to it. First she stopped dead and just looked at it, then she started sniffing it so I grabbed the ball & ran off doing my headless chicken "I've got the ball" routine - thankfully the ball & I looked more exciting & Tilly came bounding after us (alone!)
Thank goodness - I don't think I would have been able to touch the rabbit!!

i dread this happening with jake. he loves chasing them (although im sure if he was ever to catch one he wouldnt kill it, although the chances of catching one are teeny lol), he hasnt seen a dead one yet though but i can just imagine him picking it up, he picks everything up. sometimes he even spends a walk carrying a leaf around!

love the headless chicken routine, wish i had seen it

good girl Tilly

With Stumpy it depends, if they are freshly dead or if they are just skin and bones, the rabbit would win. If they are 'runny', the ball would win.

Good girl Tilly.

Bruce wouldn't bother...the ball wins everytime.

Skye........... well after a ''heavy roll perfume scent'', she would then run after the ball.

And Reah...doesn't chase balls....but responses well to NO U DON'T
