Bateman's-Rudyard Kipling's Home-Loads of Pic's

I went to Bateman's on the spur of the moment earlier today, and had a lovely time! So I have posted some pictures for you all. It's in Burwash, Etchingham, East Sussex.

Formerley the home of Kipling, a beautiful Jacobean house, gardens and a working watermill, now part of the National Trust.

Hope you like the pictures...

I'm now wondering if I should have posted this under gardens? Please move if it's in the wrong place. I would like to say "it's my garden" mind you...

I know what you mean BL... it's beautiful isn't it ?
I became an old git today and joined the National Trust, which grants me and oh free entry to any N.T park, garden or house!!! Also gave me a handout pack which has a book in it that retails at £8.99....
