Good morning all. I hope you are all well and your four legged friends also.

I was called to the docs yesterday to undergo a diabetic health check, mainly feet, had to have the retinal eye scan last Friday. Today I have to go for blood tests for my various illnesses. At least they are keeping an eye on me.

Harvey and Kelly I hope things are going along ok with you two and Chris I hope your son is ok now.

Bit chilly here, deags is shivering so the heating will have to go on. Need to take photos of Dakota's wounds today so the vet can check them ...they are absolutely fine, clean, dry and not angry looking so all is good.

Blimey it's cold again today.

Moyra, we used to get annoyed on the double appointment for annual diabetic checks - one for feet and another for blood tests. Then, of course, the wait for results. This year, our surgery combined the feet check with the blood test. A week later all we had to do was 'phone for the results. Much better and more cost effective for the surgery I would imagine. Similarly, they combined my respiratory check with cholesterol check. It seems they are finally trying to get time efficient - about time.

I've got a hospital appointment tomorrow (finally). Still miffed that it's with elderly care and not neurology
