If you are making mini quiches you can make them veggie ones. If you have a waitrose nearby they have a lovley selection of veggie party foods http://www.waitrosedeliver.com/wdeli...t%7d&source=27

Thanks for the recipe - looks straightforward, think I will try this!

Thanks Julie - I think I will do the vegetarian quiches. Sadly no waitrose even remotely close to me. The sooner they build more than 2 in Scotland the better

You can buy falafel mix ready made too, think just add water to it, have never made them from scratch but have a vegetarian friend n she makes nice ones, good luck with everything

Quorn mini scotch eggs. I not a veggi but I love them!! Also check out Iceland. If they still have their party food in, they do loads of vegi stuff and its cheap and tasty!

All of my in-laws are vegetarian so I have lots of practise. My M-I-L came for dinner last Sunday, we had chicken and she had a Higgidy spinach and mushroom pie......lovely, it was probably a lot more tasty than our chicken!

Loads of recipes here!

Not on that site but a really simple idea is puff pastry (ok I buy it) cut into triangles and stuffed with a blue cheese and cream cheese paste - basically mix some blue with cream cheese and herbs or whatever you want. Split the puff triangles and sandwich back together with the cheese mix.

Ive got loads more but its late!
