Best Anti-virus software

My Norton Internet Security subscription is about to run out, so do I renew it or is there something better out there?

Any suggestions please?

Yes my Norton is due to run out soon as well CC. I have got Norton on my desk top, lap top and Lauras computer and we have two Nortons to put on when they run out (they all had a free trial of Norton with them when we bought them and they were doing it for £24.99 when you bought a new pc) However I have 3 computers to cover and only two Nortons so I will have to find something else for one of them but I'm not sure what

Fred recommended Avast which is free and we have that on my sons computer upstairs

i think adaware is very good but if you install the avast with it you should be pretty safe that won`t let much through and the updates are very good
