Lovely shot, we've been out today watching tussles between Buzzards and Marsh Harriers, one of the harriers was carrying a wader of some description it looked like it was lining up to do an aerial pass to it's mate when two buzzards decided they wanted a bit of the action.

Great photo.
My Nephew lost a hen to a Harris Hawk on Saturday. It was snatched and eaten in front of his two young children . I can't tell you the language that was used

at the kennels we used to own it was quite common to see a sparrow hawk grabbing a small bird in mid fight in the orchard. Didn't really like seeing it but it is nature after all

I agree. We regularly have one go through our garden.
It is almost eerie after, it's like all the little birds disappear for quite sometime.
