Starting Flyball

apologies if this conversation has been had before but I am new to the forum.

I have a rescue dog that is ball mad and we have a flyball club within walking distance. I am planning on taking her on Sunday but my main concern is that she will try and steal the ball when it isn't her turn . Obviously I will have hold of her but I know that she will be so excited and a bit mad.

Does anyone else have experience of how I can get her to enjoy it without her getting wound up with other dogs and balls flying everywhere?

No experience but I would try playing ball on a long line with her when it's not her turn if space allows, or they will probably be able to help when you get there with what works for them, I hope it goes well, I think Sasha would love to go to flyball too but while I don't drive there isn't much chance i'd be able to get to our nearest one
