How can I find an obediance trainer ?

Hiya, Anyone got any tips on how to find an obediance trainer in the south, have had a look on the APDT website and not having much luck

There are few clubs round here but they all do pet dog obediance and I want to find a training class for competition obediance. Is there a website or anything that someone knows off that will help me find one ?

The Kennel Club should be able to send you a list of clubs registered with them.

If you have obedience trials in your area perhaps you could go along and ask some of the competitors where they train?

SB : They do them in Bournemouth quite a lot and I have attended those before and asked people but I seem to be asking the wrong people as the people I ask are those who have travelled quite far to get there. Or they go to a class near me but they are bloody horrible trainers they're the old kick and boot method if the dog does something wrong
