Keeping them cool

Now that summer is really here we're having some trouble keeping Archie cool Wire's don't do well at all in the heat, and yesterday instead of looking for patches of sun to lie in, Archie was looking for cool, shady corners

We have a little tub of water outside for him, and gve him lots of ice, but even with all that he was still walking around like he didn't know what to do, so in the end we put a wet cloth round his neck and wet him with the hose... all better after that

How do you keep your dogs cool in summer?

Looks lovely CC

Archie is scared to jump in our pool though... I think he would be fine if there was a slope he could walk in from, but falling in scares him

Teagan finds it hard to keep cool.
She drinks loads of cold water, but lays and pants all day and night!

going to buy a Paddling pool though!

Me too Hevvur, Helena said that hers was only a fiver from wilkinsons. You can see her dogs using it in the pics she posted.

Which we could have one like crazycockers though, how nice and refreshing does that look!

Well £8 works very well also!

You'll have to post pics of Teagan in the pool

My Puppy is feeling the heat too - have moved him out of Whelping box into the Kitchen in Puppy Pen, very yappy, panting.
