Is there financial assistance for neutering

Just a question really. Because I am the only earner in our family finding £90 spare to neuter Dougal is proving quite difficult. Is there any assistance from the SSPCA or anything? It was part of the terms of the rescue that we got him neutered but it's been a hard year.

The PDSA here do, but someone has to take thier proof of claiming benefit with them, so they can registar the animal.

Give the Dogs Trust a ring. They have schemes with several Local Authorities around the country to offer reduced-fee neutering for families on particular benefits.

Not sure whether it's just this area but we have an RSPCA neutering discount of £25, whether you're on benefits or not.

Yeah that's the problem we have. When my OH tried to apply for benefits he was told that it wasn't worth it cause he couldn't claim job seekers cause well, he's not. He's looking after our son. Can't get income support cause I'm working and so it goes on. It's not something we can realistically afford till after Xmas/
