I would if I could. Don't have the space sadly . One of my friends had them (2 boys) and they were lovely! Until one died and the other one ate it...

She had another 2 after he went and now has 2 degu's who are adorable!

yes got two girlies rudi and jazz,
it took me years to pursuade my mum to let me have them in the house and it was only after finishing collage and her meeting some ratties in collage that she relented and let me get some now she spoils them as much as me and recommends them to others

Have had them for 4 years and wouldn't be without them . Have 6 girls at the moment 2 almostsnakedinners, 2 rehomed due to allergies and 2 breeder girlies. Plan on another pair in about a year but if someone needs a home before that......

oooh i love rats......they are soooooo adorable and affectionate.

I'd love to have some, but we just dont have the room or time for them, esp with baby on the way.

I cant understand why some people dont like them. They are so sweet and sooo clever....(well the ones i have met and studied)

Have had them in the past (about 30 of them) but don't have the space or time for them anymore....

However, if I was going to have a 'cage' pet again, it would definitely be rats!

Yes, would love too when I was moving into my flat, one of the first things that I wanted to do was get a couple of rats, however fate stepped in and I got a pair of chins that needed a ned home, couldn't be without chins now, and would still love a couple of rats, but don't have the room for two bigs cages atm.
