Would you own pet rats?

just as the title says really.

would you own rats as pets?

i currently own 2 female ratties, hilary and jess.

fantastic animals in my opinion but i know they are not everyones cup of tea.

was out with hilary yesterday and was actually quite surprised most people who spoke to me wanted to pet her with only 2 who freaked out a bit

my stepdad is building me a cage for them, its nearly finished

the cage i have them in now is fine for 2 girlies or so im told but i wanted a bigger one for them

Yep - Used to have some (last 3 lots - maybe 4) have been rescues via a friend.

Not really got the time for them any more.
