I think the main problem is that my lot live a life of luxury as all they do is go out four times a day, plus the obligatory eat and sleep.

Most likely it had been an RTA and something (Foxes maybe) had eaten the rest of it Also at that time we hadn't had Bara for long and she still had a few 'problems' one of which was a great reluctance to release anything she had in her mouth
so I didn't try to retrieve it from her.Three years on she is a different dog completely and will now 'give up' food (on command) 'tho sometimes she has to 'think' about it first
