Sassy's Progress (Stock Paint Mare)

Im so pleased with how she is coming already! You almost cant see her ribs anymore or feel them for that matter. There is fat/meat coming in around them and its starting to get squishey This pic was taken with my Nikon not my cell so it shows every little detail. Her muscle is even filling back in She's doing so well!!!

A Paint horse is nothing but a Quarter Horse with a colorful coat They have the same confirmations other than the coat colors. People have bred solid QH into the colored ones to strengthen the lines and to avoid interbreeding. The American Paint Horse Association still recognizes these horses but calls them Stock Paints. The only catch with this registration is that one parent must be a Paint. In other words you cant breed two solid QHs and try to register the offspring as a paint.

So let me get this right..... You tie a young foal up to a tree with a ROPE (not on a piece of bailer twine on the fencing!) so if she spooks when you throw a haynet over her back coz she's never ever had anything on it before, the rope won't break, nor will the tree, and in turn the nylon headcollar won't break (which by the way is 3 sizes too big for her anyway), so what breaks then? Oh yes, her neck - hmmmm nice! Sorry, I'm outta her.......
