Good morning all and fingers crossed here Brenda for you and Bob that you both find the start of a new life.

Made arrangements to pop over and see my friend if you recall the lady whose husband died for cancer then she herself was admitted to hospital with Covid 19. As she said herself its been a hell of a 9 months. Also finally got the central heating service booked in for Tuesday. So looks like it will be a productive weeks holiday. Also out for lunch with my brother and sister on Monday. Not sure what Thursday Friday and Sat will bring but got to get over and see my Aunt and Grandparents headstone which has been put back avoided it due to it being in Smethwick and on lockdown.

Another chilly overcast day here. Dillon took us on a logish walk this morning roughly two miles.
Not much on today Gorden trying to order decking planks easier said than done.

Okay failed journey been to Smethwick and although the site says open the cemetery was not open. no reason as to why just the gates locked and padlocked a few people pulled up we looked at each other and shrugged no explanation to be had, so will ring try and get through or send an email. If worst comes to worse I will ring the the vicarage/community centre and ask there. I had cut flowers from the garden so just put those in a jug on the garden table.

Gert looked at me when I came back in as if to say "Billy no mates" I am supposed to sleep when you go out. Then promptly "issued a do not disturb" position on the landing.


Good side back home now and decided on homemade chips and gammon for lunch
