'evening all

Brenda - Hope your viewer is interested, as I said the other day you do seem (to me) to be getting a reasonable number 'viewings' and it's par for the course that some will give silly answers to the estate agent after.

It's been a dull day here, some rain, no sun, but ideal for Xena & Bruno

Pidgeon has definately abandoned the nest and left two eggs, can't think why, no way can Bruno get up to the nest and I keept my distance when fixing the feeder which I'll now have to remove.

Lynn - Two miles is a good walk for dear old Dillon, it's amazing how they will continue to do what they've always done even if their legs are not 100% We think Bruno is approaching this condition now as well, the club welfare lady told me he was six last year (April) so he'll be over seven now.

Hope Gordon has sorted the wood he needs, sometimes the stuff they sell in the DIY stores is not good quality. There are plenty of specialist timber merchants around but I usually found they only wanted to sell you half a ton of wood as a minimum and my little store shed couldn't hold nor could I afford it

Wonder why the cemetery gates were locked Kazz. Big bro said to me the other week to check the cemetery was open before driving the 4 hour round trip.
Luckily they emailed back quickly confirming they were open to visitors.
Wood issue possibly solved he will lay them the other way which means he can buy the shorter planks.
He can access them through screwfix, the longer ones only wickes do and they were out of stock.
Mark has been telling us things are difficult to restock so it was no surprise but inconvenient.
He is going to ring the timber yard in Outwell the next village up to where we use to live Monday just to see if they have the longer length and how much.
Yes it was long walk today Harvey possibly because the weather is cooler he did scrape his nails a lot though on his hind legs.
I am becoming more convinced we are dealing with DM as well as muscle loss due to bad hips.
I do believe he will see his 9th birthday.

The website di d and does still say they are open no idea maybe a localised issue as my brother said "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" or thereabout as he said.

Maybe the Pidgeon has died rather than abandoned the nest.
