Seems it tis the day for people to wind us up. Going to the pub for a cuppa is a much more sensible idea I think than cutting down a bush.

Well I decided to look into planning applications in the road and area of that house thanks to Barry and Harvey's suggestions.
Gorden did a google map search and I already knew from the applications there is a quarry on that road use to be Frimstone now Mick George. An application has gone in for an extension to continue I imagine digging till 2020. There is a document saying there is no objection but machinery is not to be turned on before a certain time, and must be turned off by a certain time and no heavy duty lighting to be used.
Gorden reckons it's a 4 minute walk from the house and beyond the field at the back of the house sits two big quarries.
We are guessing now this application has been sought to extend they have at least another two years of heavy duty vehicles coming and going and noise and disruption overall.
If they can get an investor or first time buyer they are hoping the search will not worry them. Reckon in 6 to 8 weeks it is going to kick off again and what happens when they have finished quarrying ?
So I reckon if they do come back it will be worth saying no as it seems all that glitters is not gold.

I had a feeling something wasn't right about the selling of that property. The way it was being sold sent alarm bells ringing
