Lovely here,not as warm as yesterday but still only half dressed Have my tan on for tomorrow GRIFF,didn't even get a speck on Lacey House and garden shining.Took all the curtains down and washed them All dry and ironed just waiting on a fairy to put them back up....

Sun is out now and its gone a lot cooler. Put the bales of shavings in the loft,glad thats over,been putting it off all afternoon,and the heavy rain didn't help.
Sat down at long last and having fish for tea.
Could just eat a carvery - but none nearby

you know last week i got a letter saying i had an appointment with my lead consultant and a new chest fella..... well it has been cancelled, i had rushed round, got my brathing tests all rearranged and squeezed in at short notice... i have now given up!

Been out and clipped the edges and watered and its much cooler but the house is hot still.
I think its meant to be another hot one tomorrow.

Its ridiculous isn't it Griff. Horatio's daddy had an appointment at the hospital last week,but they cancelled it at extremely short notice,he was well cheesed off about that.
Feeling quite chilly to what it has been, switched the the fans off and thinking of making a cup of tea,been drinking cold drinks for the last few days.
Tomorrow is forecast for the mid 20's here, Lynn. I've done all my jobs,and maybe will get sat out in the garden if I hit lucky

Is the garden looking lovely LYNN We haven't posted any pics this year yet,maybe we should start a thread.Guy at the garden centre discussed at length the importance of tomato food for plants.I have been using it for the past few weeks...wow,what a difference,can't believe it!

I'm using Miracle Gro and also the Miracle Gro compost and mine are coming on lovely. Called into the big B&M today after I'd been to the tip, looking for another cool mat but there were none left. Came away with 2 lovely fuschias, the really pale white/pink ones I love.

My word you have all been busy. Midsummer was amazing. So much work from the students and such a laugh. Got home about 20 minutes ago. So £3 for 3 hours entertainment isn't bad. See you all in the morning. Sleep well peeps.
