Lucky star I have used Bicarb too, can't use the powder sort of freshners my son is allergic, sends him into a runny eyed sneezing mess

I have bought a Vax, and do the carpets once a fortnight , they dry very quickly and it gets all the hair and doggy perfume of them. It is upright quick and easy to use. Worth the outlay of buying it too.

Thanks for your help guys.

Bajaluna how awful. I've got a spray of that somewhere.

Must admit we have been thinking about tiling the hall and putting down rugs. Of course Madlad will chomp on them when we're out but I guess they could always be rolled up. We have got to do something - the carpet is so bad it has its own ecosystem!

Just saw this but have used carpet fresh from morrisons with no ill effects at all and also Neutradol carpet freshner (tesco's) though it does have a bit of an overpowering "fresh" smell there are 2 flavours a blue one and a green one we got the green one. Again no ill effects and Ben has quite sensitive skin.

Would hate to swear they were 100% safe as you just never know but both neutradol and the morrisons one have been used here

It used to make me laugh when I saw it on TV way back when.

Have you ever seen someone having an epileptic fit in a disco, well that's how I dance.

Over the bloody place.
