It must be very common for people to form relationships (and I don't mean purely se3ual but emotional as in friendship) with their carers and vice versa. It's probably human nature especially if people are isolated and it happens in other walks of life too - work life, driving instructors, teachers, doctors, nurses, etc.

lol exactly! You can't take away peoples little treats. When my first OH was in hospital I'd bring in a case of beer and a big mac, with the consultants approval as when someone is so ill it can do them good to have a treat and be 'normal' for a minute..... even when his medication said avoid alcohol!

That's one thing I can say, she won't touch a drop if she is working, not even sniff. But bygum (sp) if she is off on a sunday she let's her hair down on the Saturday night.
