Hubby and I were talking about this this morning.
We obviously have a very strange dog because our grass has got loads of long, luxurious patches of grass where Pepsi pees. Quite the opposite of any other dog's pee patches

What a considerate and perfect dog she is! Peeing fertiliser for you! I doubt very much if I'd notice any significant 'burn' from one of Bella's half spoonfuls!

Please do!! Nigredo is killing the living fudge out of our lawn. We don't really care in turn... but we'd like to not have a huge burned patch near the front porch.

Here you are Myra, what about this,

This is only part of the lawn but you can see how she moves on a bit each time

I just live with the fact that dogs and lawns don't mix

It's like with the bullocks in the fields at the back of our house - where they have wee'ed the grass grows thick and lush, it's the urea which is of course a fertiliser, but I had no idea that dog urine could have the same effect!

Well, many years ago, when I was busy hosing down GSD pee patches on my grass, I was told by someone that although in the short term it would appear to 'kill that patch off' it would in the long term be the GREENEST bit! That must be why then.

However, as they produce new 'patches' daily - you are not likely to see any 'benefits' from this phenomenon really. And my GSD used to prefer to pee and poo in her own back yard - she'd hold on all day rather than poo anywhere other than down the bottom of our garden.
