Just thought I'd give this an update.
We've had tons of viewings (just 5 yesterday!) but no sale yet. Hopefully at least we can get some positive comments from a couple of the Saturday viewers .
We've had many people say that the spare bedroom is too small for them (which we can't do anything about!), and others didn't like the area much.

So.
Patience.

I doubt it will sell before Christmas, but then at least we can stay in England and earn money when everyone wants to train in Jan and Feb (we are personal trainers) .

I think the market is still very slow, as you say patience!
Good luck

Yeah, when we put it up for sale we expected that the closer to Christmas, the lesser chance of selling it . So probably won't be until after Christmas I guess. I just hope it wont take tooooo long!

Yes, unfortunately the four weeks leading up to Christmas are not good times for house sales, but I believe that the government will make some moves in the New Year to encourage mortgage lending, that should help you, and as soon as Spring is on the horizon the buyers will return. Good luck and do keep us posted please.

I don't mind staying, but the most annoying thing is looking at the houses for sale in Norway and seeing "perfect" ones. Then I know at the same time there is no point falling in love yet .
