I'm no fan of spidres either. A friend of mine has got a Pink backed tarantula (i think it's called a pink back) What makes me laugh though is that she can't stand crickets and that's what she feeds 'em, live crickets!

My brother chased me round the house once with a dead spider I totally freaked out but even my mum & dad thought it was funny

Not sure if you guys have Huntsmen Spiders where you are, But they can grow quite large.

have heard of them ash as we have family in aussie
thats one of the reasons i,ll never visit them cos of the big spiders out there
ours here are too big for me to cope with

ash they are in perth,it is my husbands brother and his wife and kids
we call them daddy long legs too,well i do anyway

Perth is a Hot place, We went through there about 4 years ago, when we went around Australia, My best Mate lives there.
It is about 2-3 days drive from me.

These Jiddy Spinners or what ever they are called, are like Daddy Long Legs but thet Fly.....
