May Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2023

Morning all. Yep another bank holiday but I won't be buying olives this time as so expensive from the market. Watched James Bond last evening You only live Twice and I really enjoyed it. Took me back to when I was 18 when the film came out. I wish I was 18 again. How old would you like to be again and why? Well must away and do something exciting. A book calls to me again. Lovely morning here although very breezy. Cleaned all the windows outside and washed all the blankets that are dotted round the lounge. Now cooking lunch.

Best time I think was when I was seventeen and just passed my driving test and I got my own car.

We are at Freya's and she is having a sleep. We have been in the garden she has a nice trampoline a low one free off a gifting site, so been on that and her nice plastic slide, we have been playing ball too.
Oh yes her dolly and buggy also have to go in the garden and she toddles about with that, plus we have been shooing pigeons off the fence.

Sue I really need some of what you are on.

I love olives brenda. Crepso I think is the name, do olives in a foil pack cheaper than buying from a market. Tesco do them I think, still not cheap though but what is nowadays.

I would like to be 18 early twenties. Parties out all the time enjoying life.

Had a think and 18 for me, driving test passed at 17 BUT

By 18 (1981) I had saved and brought a car 1975 ford 2 door escort Mk11 so freedom and also first abroad holiday should of been Lloret De Mar but ended up in Rhodes Falaraki (before the 18/30's descended) fantastic holiday and time. Oh how I enjoyed life.

The two big films of my 18th year were Raiders of the Lost Ark and I think that year Chariots of Fire.

Chris How is your sister in law doing will she be out of hospital for the funeral on the 31st May?
