Good morning Griff and all to follow.

Its pouring here so pleased I roused myself and got in the garden yesterday so pretty much sorted now. Off to work shortly and trying to decide if I have pork chops for tea or not. See when I come home.

Am going to look at getting some tickets for a the gardeners world show at the NEC... Not been for a few years now but do fancy it. Anyone been?

Good morning Kelly and Kazz

Take it easy today then Kelly and don't get too wet if you go out

Have a good day Kazz

Yesterday was lovely here but spent it painting three doors and skirting and door surrounds in the hall. Just got to put another top coat on two doors and then hopefully the hall is finished and I can start on the landing once the new handles have come and fitted. Lovely this morning bUt rain forecast so have taken the opportunity and cut the grass back and front. This afternoon is painting so it can do what it likes

Take care everyone.

Put in Sue's hand a paint brush and she is as happy as larry the lamb, also keeps her quiet for a short time

My brother died this morning and my sister-in-law (his wife) is now in the same hospital with a persistent chest infection and heart failure

It's weird to have such a conflict of emotions. Torn between sadness and grief and relief for him to have now moved on from the pain he's been suffering

Not a good day today

Chris to you and your family my deepest condolences. As you say when difficulty is living day to day (Parkinson's is a horrible condition) you are torn between relief and the sadness.

Has his wife been poorly previously?

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
