Apparently the allotment are having a sunflower competition this year (hence the title) just off there now so catch you all later.

Lovely morning here too and quite warm. Teazle walked, weed killer put round driveway where needed and paths in the back garden. Have just made a lemon drizzle cake. This afternoon off for a wander round sovereign harbour

Been over to Peterborough to look at a Kia Sorrento, checked the mot and some sill problems but thought we would take a look.
Gorden took a look and was very bad and one of the handles on the back door was broken (outside).
Walked away.

What a glorious morning. So much so that it's very busy along the seafront with folk out for a wander.

A bit of washing to do then some time reading. I bought the Pandemic Diaries (Matt Hancock) when it came on offer on Kindle and I'm finding the machinations of Government fascinating. I don't usually 'buy' books and opt for the many free ones available, but wanted this one so for once I bought it
