Deffo not leave the bank card, if she takes it and spends it, the bank would tell him it was his fault, my mum used to take £10 off me a week..I was paid £65 ...for that, I got lunch, dinner and laundry, I had to pay my own travel to work clothes etc...my brother earnt more than double part time and he too paid £10, it was to teach us that everything costs. She really is a vile woman, I really hope that Joel will realise that making the sacrifice of his friends will benefit him in his future and if they are true friends, they will keep in touch.

I doubt he will come this way griff not yet anyway.
If he can get this job he will stay for now anyway.

All up in the air at the moment I wish he would come this way to be near us but can understand him not wanting to leave an area he was born in and his friends.

new battery
had our battery replaced today, the stop/start came up with system error

Nissan were even cheaper than Halfords using the correct battery. Seems that if a battery is not fully charged one gets this warning and our battery was 4 years old. Car started ok but this was first sign that it was starting to fail.

one can't even change the car battery now yourself as the whole system has to be reset on diagnostic equipment. Just got to see if that was the problem as suggested on a forum I belong to.

with winter around the corner a flat battery is a no no

Glad you got it sorted a flat battery is a nightmare and you can't jump start most cars any more either.
