I'm vegetarian and used to eat pizza for my Christmas day dinner but now I have a yeast allergy must think of something different!

Jamie always has turkey though-it is his favourite.

We will be having turkey as usual, but our all Amercian themed Xmas breakfast with steak & eggs, muffins & American pancakes etc... was such as success last year that we are doing that again... then the kids are off to their dad's for dinner, so the turkey dinner will be just us in the evening

We're having turkey, however, for the second year running, it will be a bird we have raised and slaughtered ourselves.

I've been feeding them up, and they are nice and heavy. They've got lots of warm straw in their house, so the don't use up all their energy keeping warm; and they're now on restricted movement, so we've made their pen smaller as well.

Will be making my own stuffing to go with it as well

There are just 3 of us for Christmas dinner as our respective kids are all elsewhere and I'm working until 3pm. So we're having goose etc in the evening. We have an absolute house full on Boxing Day when we're having homemade game pie.

No turkey in this house!

Fillet steak and other cuts of beef that we order from the local butchers.

Oh, and a nice bit of ham usually as well.

Have turkey here, left to me we would venture towards duck (whats goose like) maybe goose but no one but me would eat it.

Would also have beef but tradition is turkey. And I have to say it I adore it. Especially the turkey and stuffing afterwards.
