Good morning Moyra and all who follow

Thinking of you Lynn and Gorden and fingers crossed for Dillon.

Lovely morning here. Teazle walked and off shortly into town as Barry has to get some new reading glasses. I also have to get a few bits whilst in town.

Hope all are well. Take care.

Good evening thank you for thinking of us.
Dillon trotted happily off with Katherine this morning. We picked him up around 2 pm.
Op went well now we wait for the results. His pre-op blood tests are showing early signs of kidney disease but his breeder has said and a friend who has owned Bernese for years at this age it is not unusual for them to start showing early signs of kidney problems.
Katharine mentioned the food you can put them on but said most dogs hate it and she doesn't think it will do Dillon any harm not having it he is nearly 10 and his limbs are an issue now so not to make him more miserable by giving him food he more than likely will not eat.
So now we wait for the results of the lump.
He is now sleeping soundly on the sofa sporting a lovely blue bandage over his paw and up his leg with patterns on it.
Back for a bandage change on Thursday.

Hope everyone is well today.

Lol...bless his fancy pants Bandage!
Do you feed raw.lynn.or red meat? When I had Dex and had to take him for blood test the vet explained sometimes what you fed ( raw/.high meat made the kidneys work harder to process it and therefore the kidney function reflected that)
