Views on Victoria Stilwell....

Just wondered what people's views or opinions were of Victoria Stilwell - she's doing a seminar in November and I didn't know whether to go or not. It's in Shrewsbury and tickets are on sale now, on offer until August.....

I'm sure you will enjoy the seminar if you go. As with any seminar or workshop, you take away some interesting ideas and, if you're anything like me, will agree and disagree with some of the things that come out of it

Victoria Stillwell seemed to learn on the job (that of TV personality), but she did well. You could see the progression throughout the various series she did on TV.

I would go. Her love of dogs shows through. I understand that she began as an actress with just a love of dogs but has gone to the trouble of studying animal behaviour (not sure to what level) Even if you come away with just one or two things you didn't know, it would be worth it.

Is it as a spectator or handler?

Make sure to take notes as you may not remember everything. AND let us know what you learned.

Hi you are quite right, for a celebrity dog trainer, but I think she could havebeen the host on Crufts,As I feel the one that has been the host doesnt seem relaxed around dogs, she does try but you can see that she would rather be with horses.crystalgirl
