JNR HANDLERS

Can any one give me some advice please? I have 2 dog shows at the beginning of next year on school days.I am entered but I have 2 children who come with me to all the shows and don't want to stay at home.I know I can fill out 'holiday' forms and ask permission but don't know what the response will be to asking for days off for dog shows.
Now what do I do? Do I
1/ Be honest and risk them saying no! I will then have to leave at least 1 entered dog at home and the kids will be soo upset. Are they likely to say no/
2/ let the kids throw a 'sicky'
3/ Put a holiday form in with a different reason on....
Please help!
Nikki

I would be honest and tell them the reason causing knowing kids they will slip up about where they have been.

up here I dont think they would bother that much as long as it was just one day.

Most people take their kids out for 2 weeks for holidays so whats one day.

Thats what I'm worried about!
I feel that the kids come every time on a weekend even if they have a choice of doing something else so I want to let them come to these two.
One of them is Crufts and my little girl is SOOOOO excited about showing there this year...I can't tell her she can't come she'll be heartbroken

If it's anything like where I live Nikki, they won't even let the kids go on holiday unless there a very good reason why they can't go when they're off school. A dog show certainly wouldn't be a good enough reason.

I'd personally let the kids throw a sicky.

Just keep reminding her as to why she's off school
