Are you happy with our new Govt?

We knew there was a very good chance of a coalition, are you happy how it turned out?

Edit: You can watch the first joint press conference in full here.

I voted: Yes - it seems to have turned out much better than I originally thought possible.

I'm actually quite excited about this new govt - this new type of govt. Diversity is a great thing, talking with people holding different views is the only real democratic way to do politics.. and they are now pretty much forced to do just that

Definitely a win for the people let's hope they are all as mature as they say they are and do us all proud.

I'm not sure what to vote. I'm cautiously optimistic - I hope the two together will temper some things, but can see problems ahead and the concern that personalities/differences/ambitions could get in the way when the honeymoon period is over.

Yeah that's true although, one good thing is that both sides will be under scrutiny at all times - and dirty tactics won't go down well with the public so hopefully, just maybe, things will actually work out.

Guess I'm an optimist too

I'm with you Azz. I'm fairly crap at politics but even I could see that something had to change. I'm glad to see fresh faces and new ideas etc. I guess only time will tell though if it's the 'right' government...

I'm also not really into politics but I feel this coalition could be just what we need to get us on the right tracks again

I wanted a change......and boy we have got that ! Now to see if they are able to work together and put the good of the country before egos.It is the first time since I started voting that an election result has me wanting to know what happens next.....maybe more of us apolitical creatures will take an interest!

I haven't voted because I would of liked a Lib/Lab coalition but with a different PM and did think at one point that might happen.

I do think John Reid had a point that they were not doing Labour any favours by not stepping down though.

I will have too wait and see, I am not going too leave sleep over the decision what's done is done.

I just hope they can sort the problems out only time will tell on that one.

It's certainly an exciting time for politics, isn't it?
