Absolutely. Never heard that calamine lotion wasn't good. It apparently dries off the spots to quick into scabs.

I know my dad had shingles but never chicken pox... and I have never had chicken pox. I now have to avoid anyone with chicken pox as it could kill me, I ran out the chemist as there was a young girl in there with it...I rushed past my dad shouting "chicken pox...you get my drugs I have to go" lol
Hmmmm I think the only electric car I would want would be a Tesla.... don't think anyone likes me enough to give me one of those lol

You would of been running out of Mark and Lauren's garden griff.

We were sitting in the garden about 20 mins ago and all of a sudden this we guess sparrowhawk flew full pelt down the side of the bungalow straight down to the blackberry bush that comes above our fence and snatched a sparrow from the hedge. My word so quick.
We have loads of sparrows in our garden first time we have seen one since living here, we know there are birds of prey that wheel about the sky we sometimes see them but always thought we were a bit built up for them to come this close.

Calamine was always the great stand by and always in the cupboard when I was young. Any itch was lathered in it.

I had chicken pox as a youngster and again my my kids came down with it. Calamine it was although it was a devil to get hold of when my kids brought it in.

Shingles were terrible. Fortunately, I didn't get it too bad, but it knocked me for six for a good 3-4 months

This has made me smile a neighbour went to visit her grandchildren and the children next door has something (can't recall what) she came home and I saw her standing on the garden bench in the back garden I called out the window "you alright" to which she replied "Yes just blowing the germs off"
