Daily Thread, Tuesday 9th July, 2019

Good morning everyone, I hope you and yours are all well and it is lovely to see that Harvey managed to visit to report on how his session went. A lot cooler this morning I hope it warms up during the day.

Harvey, well done with your first session, take note of Kelly's experience, she has learned the hard way.

Chris, hope Gary settles soon, Have a good day everyone , stay warm and dry and above all things safe and well.
God bless.

Good afternoon all.

Dull and chilly here with a few spots of rain.

It's the Kindle for me for reading. I usually read 2-3 books a week so it's useful to have them lined up on the machine.

The guy straight opposite us has a riotous display of roses this year in his front garden so we are getting the full benefit of seeing them. They really are lovely this year

Oo where you going this time Barry? Yep my roses were lovely this year to. Must be a year for them as my sister in laws were as well. Well she says they were. I haven't seen them.bg!! My potted rose that was given to me in remembrance of Tyto has also grown and flowered lots this year. I have kept it indoors. Don't want to lose it. Unfortunately the wildseeds that I scattered haven't come up at all. The ground is so dry. Have a good 'dafternoon' and evening peeps.

My two patio roses are looking lovely lots of blooms.

After the vet visit and Dillon being manipulated rather a lot we went to Wells-Next-The Sea. It was a little warm so we didn't stay long. Got a sniff of sea air and sat and had a coffee not Dillon he had water and then we came home. Even though warm and he had been pulled around he was still his gracious self to children and other dogs. Basically ignores other dogs. Loves a fuss from the children.

Thanks griff. He has started a diet today to try to take some pressure off his poorly joints.
He weighs 65.8Kgs 10.5 stone for the height of him and his frame not really overweight but due to his orthopedic problems now becoming an issue he could do with losing a kilo or to.
Although the vet didn't mention it I am sure she will be pleased if he is a little lighter for our check up appointment next month.
