Well I didn't think I would be on here this evening but my first chemo session went well today. They gave me an infusion for nausia and sickness, that will wear off tomorrow so like you said the worst may be yet to come but they have also given me some tablets and said exactly what you said "Don't wait until actualy sick, take one a soon as you feel it comming on"


So we'll see, but I thought I should let you know I'm still alive and kicking


Hope the hospital can sort out your wrist, they should be able to do something, not good that you can't grip anything and it's very painful, get some decent painkillers from them at least.

Harvey, so glad you feel o.k. I do hope you will continue to feel well over the coming days and weeks, anything I can help with let me know

So glad to hear it went well, Harvey. Hopefully, if any side effects kick in you will catch them at a very early point and pop a pill to stop things in their tracks.

I'm getting better at predicting Gary's mood swings and, in fairness, this isn't as bad as some we've experienced. Hopefully, he'll click out of it by tomorrow or he'll stay home until he feels less fed up with himself. Staying home and getting involved in his hobbies seems to calm him better than anything else.

Dave's stomach has completely settled now and his meals this afternoon haven't affected him thank heavens.

Got the car tyre fixed this morning and put back on the car. £15 which I don't suppose is too bad for the repair.
