To hot to paint Sue.
Kazz thankfully Dillon seems blissfully unaware. He gets frustrated that we keep his walks shorter as we know he begins to struggle back legs and it seems stamina wisee needs more lie downs and more water along the way.
Also even though we walk him early we need to get him back by the time the sun breaks through but of course he understands none of this and why should he being a dog.

He is fine on short walks and around the bungalow and garden doing the swab tomorrow will pay by bank transfer direct and post Monday and we can then either rule the Bernese gene of DM or not. If not then it will be his hips, elbows and distal rotation and age catching up with him.

Been very hot here 30 celsius outside we put the big shade up today. We are thinking we might sleep in the garden tonight on the old sofas.

Good evening all.

It was lovely here this morning. Warm with a nice breeze so we enjoyed our walk. Gary wanted to have a walk to the observatory this afternoon so I took him and Dave stayed home with Rosie as the sun was really starting to heat up. Blimey, the difference between this morning and this afternoon was unbelievable heat wise. Saw three lots of idiots with inflatables in the sea. The tide was on the turn so I do hope they got out before the tide took them out.

Rosie has retired to the bedroom most of the afternoon. It's cool in there and it's her favourite spot during the afternoons as she likes to snooze in the cool quiet

Scorchio here, didn't take the dogs out until 7.30...it was still warm then so a quick potter and back home
It was 33degrees in the bus cabs today and one of the driver's got out of his cab, got off the bus and promptly passed out! Luckily it wasn't Steve this time but once again, no water supplied for the drivers

Evening all. Apart from two short wanders first thing I stayed in. Don't do heat. Much prefer late autumn and winter/spring. Read and watched Tom Selleck. Night all. Enjoy the sleeps in the garden. Hope you all have citronella candles.

Are they not allowed to supply their own water?

Of course they can Kazz, and most do, however 4 1/2 hours in a 33 degree cab with no breaks...water doesn't last long
