Where have all the Corgi's gone.

I was watching the Queen on television tonight and saw her with her corgi's and realized I hadn't seen one for years. When I was young there seemed to be a few around where I live. Are they getting to be a rare breed or what? Haven't heard of anyone on the forum with one either.

I think you're right, they don't seem to be so popular now as they were a couple of decades ago. I do see plenty round here though, but I do live in Pembrokeshire and just the ocassional Cardi... Cardiganshire is next door.

There's a Corgi breeder at my dog training classes. She does obedience with hers!

Still see some around the shows, but I would say numbers have gone down from about 10 years or so ago.

There is a lady who lives locally to me who I see most mornings walking her Corgi, but other than hers I haven't seen one for many years.
