We are allowed on the beaches again now, so maybe one day next week....
Used to take Charlie to Goodrington where one side was open to dogs all year round. And another, as I recall, at Preston. In the off peak times I used them all.

Ole Charlie Girl - you could walk her over the downs and through woods all day but she didn't think she'd been for a walk until she'd been on the beach! Probably because we lived almost right on Newlyn Beach when I got her and she went on it every day for the first 4 years of her life.

Never had a dog that didn't like the beaches and the sea.

Goodrington and Preston are still the same now. We can walk all day in the woods or on the common and Peps will stay with us or come straight back when called. but go to the beach and it is goodbye Peps! There are too many dogs with balls on the beach, all of which she is convinced are hers

Charlie used to chase the shadows of the seagulls on the sand as they flew about overhead - so funny. Down on Paignton beach the one we could walk to. We often walked round the grounds of Oldfield manor too.

She looks so teeny in her lake, would you care to swap? Ima is excellent at transporting sand, so good in fact that you don't even know it's there until she leaves it on the floor for you

Not ONE of them occupied Lacey. Most of them not even in summer months.
