Skiing

Anyone going skiing this year. I used to go every year for the last six years but hurt my knee last time. Was a late developer and didn`t start until I was 50. Was watching the holiday programme and Tuesday night on BBC brought back memories of when I learned to ski. I had such fun I dont think I have ever laughed so much.

Standing up after a heavy fall, but still smiling

One of the fantastic views from a mountain top restaurant, hot chocolate in hand

Just had to put this one in.

Wicked pictures. Never been but would love to give it a go sometime. I'd probably break something-and it wouldn't be the bank!

Looks gorgeous.
I'd love to be able to ski, but i got chucked off a horse at college & snapped the ligament in my knee. So i don't think my knee would last a weeks skiing

I had lessons on a dry slope before I went on my first sking holiday. It is a very good idea to have a few lessons before you go so that you have a bit of an idea of how to ski. The only thing is it hurts more when you fall and it is a lot easier to turn on real snow.

Really gorgeous pictures Katie

Nothing quite like a skiing holiday surrounded by good friends, a warm chalet and a spa out the back.

Definitely addictive but definitely expensive Fantastic all the same
