He has made his debut already. Yesterday when walking from the car to the house we met a neighbour and he was so good and let the neighbour tickle his head. Today Petra who owns Tannie the staffie we looked after turned up with a christmas card I couldn't let her in though as she had Tannie and he still hasn't had his innoculations apparently he is being done next month. To be honest I wouldn't of let him in anyway he is so misbehaved and would roughhouse Dillon far too much and I am certainly taking no chances. He is far too precious.

Later we were out on a toilet break in the garden and Bob next door was outside so I picked Dillon up and Bob said hello over the fence then his daughter then Carol and then Dan the SIL we were not near enough for them to fuss him but he could see and hear them and he took it all in.

Jesterjenn - bmds are not actaually as big as some of the other bigguns like newfies. The bitches especially are quite a lot smaller.
Basset (at 8.5 stone) looked small the other day next to a 13 stone st Bernard !!

Thanks all. WP you are right they are not as big people they think they should be. But his breeder does have large males in her lines and her friends we met in the summer was huuuuge.
