Greetings from a Newbie!

Hi there

Just thought I would pop into the Intros as I am a new member (and much of a novice).

We are getting our new puppy - Poppy - on Sunday and are very excited about her arrival. She is a Working Cocker x Springer Spaniel..... so it's going to be funfiled madness !

Glad I found this forum, as I have learnt loads and thats just from reading through a few threads!

Hello & Welcome to Dogsey!

I too have a working springer x cocker spaniel. She will be 2 in August! You are right about the madness! I am praying for the day she matures a bit! Although her wildness does help when I am working her in the picking up team!!

Thanks Sarah, we are really looking forward to her. We have been seeing her since she was 2 weeks old and can already see her crazy character coming out. Her parents have such lovely characters too.

I've known my Misty since she was like 3 days old! Was fab to watch her grow! Knew her parents for a year or so before she came along, so knoew they were really good workers! She gets her wildness from her Dad, (the cocker). He is unable to go offlead now, as he gets a scent and is away, doesn't come back for a while!

I think there are a few others on the forum that have this particular cross!
