He be honest I thought your list was going to be

1 FCR
2 FCR
3 FCR
4 FCR
5 FCR

I'm still considering my list ...BCs are evidently no.1 (and probably numbers 2,3 & 4 as well), but I get swayed by so many other breeds when I get more personal experience of them, so I need to have a good think about it.

It is really, can't see myself owning anything else for a longtime...but never say never. Trouble is I love so many other breeds as well...but once I had lived with a Flat Coat, that was it really. Life wouldn't be the same without one.

Did you mention FCR A??? didn't see that!

Its the same for me with the Setters A - don't think could ever be without one of them - esp. the Gordons at the mo! Like you at the moment can't think about another Irish with having lost my special girl - there can't be another Sacha xx

I think a top 50 would be easier! There are just so many to choose from! But in no particular order my top 5 would be:

1: Norwegian Elkhound
2: Estrela Mountain Dog
3: Swedish Vallhund
4: Tibetan Mastiff
5: Bull Terrier

5 is not enough no way....

Mine just has to be - and they are quite varied in shape and size:

Cocker Spaniel - I just love their zest for life
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - have had one in the past and now my dad has Henry and they are fantastic dogs
Golden Retriever - a dog that I love and 'will' own one day
Westie - not sure why, just a dog breed we were looking at before we decided on cockers, there is something about them that tugs at the heart strings
Beagle - a breed that our eldest daughter would like to own and the more I look into them, the more attracted I've come to them
