Canine Physiotherapy

Has anyone visited a canine physio after their dog has injured itself, or for any other reason?

My German shepherd, Zak, recently knocked, sprained or strained his rear left leg (possibly his knee). We visited the vet who has advised four weeks rest and if there is no improvement then to return for him to be sedated and further investigation to be done.

I am looking into physio as an aid to his rest and rehab, as he is a very energetic dog who doesn't take too easily to long periods of non activity.

The blurb on the physio site looks good.

Just wondering if others have experience.

I use an equine chiropractor and she's wonderful. Lona has some recurring issue with her back which affects her neck and one visit does the trick. Vets couldn't find the problem, but she did immediately! Have used her only 3 times in 11 years for Lona and also for Zen, that turned out to be pano though!

I used an ACPAT physiotherapist to aid recovery following an Achilles tendon injury. I'm sure it helped.
