This one is going to be trouble...

So, after Sami's little £600 adventure at the vet last week, I thought he'd give me a breather.., not a blimming chance!

Took the boys on a Viz Whizz today and managed to lose him!

Thankfully, within 10 minutes he was found, a very kind couple were heading back toward our group with him, but I was having palpitations at that stage. The little tinker at least had the good grace to look panic stricken and then delighted to see us

Then, when I got them home, as they were filthy, but the mud had dried I thought I'd rub them both down with towels and wipes.

Stupid me rubbed a bit too hard on Sam's " bits " and managed to somehow roll back his sheath so that it was turned in on itself with his willie stuck on the outside

It took half an hour of cold flannels and a bit of vaseline to get it back in!!!!!!!

Dear God, please, please don't let that happen again, I really thought that we were about to have another trip to the vet, this one even more embarrassing than the last!

You poor soul, what a horrid day

We once had a Vizsla in the kennels where I worked and were warned that he regularly had this problem. Sure enough, one day there he was in distress and in need of positive action. I remember that it took ages and loads of vaseline type stuff to sort it out - not funny.

Actually, when I had Twiggy [his pet name] over to do the deed with my Z - I was warned by his owner, my mentor, that he was liable to get his wotsit stuck outside and that I should dunk his rear end in a bowl of warm water and gently - ahem - get it back in.

He might have only been a tiddler but oh 'eck did he have a biggun!

Thank God for insurance, at least I'll get most of it back.

Poor Sam, having to have his wotsit fiddled with, I bet it was sore.

Phew - can imagine how you felt when he went missing!

As for his other problem. Ouch that does sound very painful.

Goodness! I'd be horrified if Nigredo went missing, thankfully it has never happened. He's too much of a momma's boy to go running off somewhere.

I hope all is well now and Mr. Sami doesn't cause anymore trouble.
