Jackie why does the younger dog have that thin string round its neck and not a collar?

I don't like the look of that - it looks like it's cutting into its neck!

They both have a show lead on, the same on both dogs, believe me it's not cutting into her neck, Nellie is a fidget ant it's just caught her in the middle of a fidget, it may look like she's strung, but she is not, she just stepped back and looked up at her mum,
